To find the petition under study admissible, in relation to Articles 4 (right to
life), 8(1) (right to a fair trial), 24 (right to equality before the law), and 25 (right to judicial
protection) of the American Convention, in conjunction with Article 1(1) of the same
instrument, and Article 7 of the Convention of Belém do Pará.

To find the petition under study inadmissible in relation to Article 2 of the
American Convention and Articles 3, 4, and 5 of the Convention of Belém do Pará.
3.
To notify the State and petitioner of this decision.
4.
To begin the processing on the merits.
5.
To publish this decision and include it in the Annual Report to be presented to
the General Assembly of the OAS.
