The request for protection concerns failure by the State of Honduras to deliver to family members the mortal remains of Juan Humberto Sánchez, whose body was exhumed on August 24, 2004. The Inter-American Court rejected the request because it considered the issue to be within the scope of compliance monitoring of the Judgment on preliminary objections, merits, reparations of June 7, 2003.
