conventionality entails the obligation of national judges to consider in their decisions180 both the instruments of the inter-American system and the case law of the Court, an obligation that extends to other domestic authorities.181 In this specific case, this entails the Inter-American Court’s duty to contemplate the implications of its judgment for the establishment of its standards in order to ensure the soundness of its precedents.
