The facts of the petition concern threats to life, personal integrity, and freedom of expression of the journalist José Luis Galdamez Alvarez (Director of the program "Behind the Truth" of Radio Globo); his partner Wendy Orellana Molina; his sons Pedro Luis Jose Luis, Ramon Marlon Joshua, and Israel (all with the surname Galdámez); and his two minor children whose identities have been maintained confidential.
