11 the Inter-American Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities,23 for interpretative purposes. V. CONCLUSION 43. The Commission concludes that it has jurisdiction to hear this petition and that the petition complies with the requirements for admissibility as established in Articles 46 and 47 of the American Convention and Articles 30, 36, and other portions of its Regulations. Based on the arguments of fact and law expounded above, and without prejudging on the merits of the matter, THE INTER-AMERICAN COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS DECIDES: 1. To declare the petition admissible with respect to the rights enshrined in Articles 8.1, 24, and 25 of the Convention, and Articles 1.1 and 2 of that same Convention. 2. To notify the State and the petitioners of this decision. 3. To continue with the analysis of the merits of the case. 4.
