THE COURT DECIDES: Unanimously, 1. To declare the preliminary objection inadmissible, in accordance with paragraphs 16 to 19 of this Judgment. DECLARES: Unanimously, that 1. The State did not violate the right to judicial guarantees and judicial protection established in Articles 8 and 25 of the American Convention on Human Rights, in relation to the right to life recognized in Article 4 of this instrument, all in relation to Article 1(1) thereof, in the terms of paragraphs 80 and 92 to 104 of this Judgment. 2. The State did not violate the right to personal integrity established in Article 5(1) of the American Convention on Human Rights, in relation to Article 1(1) of this instrument, in the terms of paragraph 109 of this Judgment. 3. It abstains from ruling on the supposed failure of the State to comply with the obligation contained in Article 2 of the American Convention on Human Rights, in the terms of paragraph 88 of this Judgment.
