ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE INTER-AMERICAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS OF SEPTEMBER 25, 1997 PROVISIONAL MEASURES ÁLVAREZ ET AL. CASE HAVING SEEN: 1. The order of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights of September 19, 1997, in which it decided to convene the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the State of Colombia to a public hearing to be held at the seat of the Court on November 4, 1997, at 10.00 a.m., to hear their arguments on the provisional measures requested in the [.] [Álvarez et al.] case. CONSIDERING: That, having reviewed the agenda of work for the XXXVIII Regular Session of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, the President considered it necessary to restructure this in order to accomplish the planned objectives and therefore the date of the public hearing established by this Court in its order of September 19, 1997, must be modified. THEREFORE: THE PRESIDENT OF THE INTER-AMERICAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS, pursuant to Article 12.2 of the Statute of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and Article 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, DECIDES: To convene the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the State of Colombia to a public hearing to be held at the seat of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights on November 8, 1997, at 10.00 a.m., in order to hear their arguments on the provisional measures requested in the instant case, and a hearing prior to this at 9.00 a.m. on the same day.
