Criminal Cassation Chamber of October 21, 1999.101 Subsequently, on October 28, 1999, the complainant filed motion for reconsideration of dismissal of appeal,102 which was dismissed by the National Chamber of Criminal Cassation in a resolution of December 9, 1999.103 On February 3, 2000, the complainants filed an extraordinary appeal,104 which was found inadmissible on March 7, 2000 by the National Chamber of Criminal Cassation.105 Finally, on March 23, 2000, the complainant filed a motion for reconsideration of dismissal of appeal before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation,106 which was dismissed by a resolution dated December 18, 2001.107 65. The case was reopened again by an order dated March 14, of 2019.108 On March 18, 2019, it was sent to National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 10 for further investigation. On March 22, 2019, the prosecutor in charge to refer the case to the Office of the Attorney General on Institutional Violence (PROCUVIN). In the framework of the investigation, PROCUVIN contacted several witnesses,109 requested evidence, and issued a number of subpoenas.110 On October 29, 2019, PROCUVIN reported that the case was under evaluation in order to determine how to proceed.111 Following the public oral hearing of this case before this Court, PROCUVIN requested copies of the statements before notary public presented by the representatives, as well as the expert opinion of Víctor Manuel Rodríguez.112 Additionally, the State reported that none of the judges involved in the José Delfín Acosta Martínez case remain in their positions.
