They remained there until around midday on December 19, 2001, when they were released and custody was given to a person identified merely as “Marcia.”84 Gabriel Blas Valencia indicated that he was allowed to leave the PTJ after several days, but he had nowhere to go, until he was taken in by a woman who he did not identify in his statement.85 Mauricio Valenzuela Valencia was detained in the PTJ facilities for seven days and then released.86 On December 20, 2001, Jenny Paola Lulleman Gutiérrez and Julia Mamanu Mamani were released.
