ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE INTER-AMERICAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS PROVISIONAL MEASURES REQUESTED BY THE INTER-AMERICAN COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE MATTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA GIRALDO CARDONA CASE MARCH 18, 1997 HAVING SEEN: 1. The order of the Court of February 5, 1997, in which the Government of Colombia and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights were convened, through their representatives, to attend a public hearing on April 13, 1997, at 10.00 a.m. 2. The modification of the program of work of the Court for the XXXVI Regular Session. THEREFORE: THE PRESIDENT OF THE INTER-AMERICAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS, pursuant to Article 25.2 of the Statute of the Court, 29.2 and 46.1 of its Rules of Procedure and in consultation with the judges of the Court, DECIDES: 1. To amend the date of the convocation in the order of the Court of February 5, 1997, and convene the Government of Colombia and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights so that, through their representatives, they attend a public hearing to be held at the seat of the Court on April 12, 1997, at 4.00 p.m. on the provisional measures in the Giraldo Cardona case.
