The request for provisional measures seeks to protect the life and integrity of Inés Fernández Ortega (a victim of a case pending before the Inter-American System) and others - namely her husband, daughters, son, and members of the non-governmental organizations Tlanichollan Mountain Organization and the Tlaplaneco Indigenous People's Organization. They faced harassment and threats due to Inés Fernández Ortega’s work with indigenous rights in the state of Guerrero.
