Given that the public hearing took place on September 5 and 6, 2012, and, consequently, the time frame for submitting amicus curiae briefs expired on September 21, 2012, on the instructions of the President of the Court, the foregoing were advised that said briefs could not be considered by the Court or included in the case file. 15. The Court observes that the amicus curiae briefs filed by Equal Rights Trust and the Human Rights Clinic of the University of Texas, INTERIGHTS, and jointly by Caio Varela, Marcelo Ferreyra, Rosa Posa, Bruna Andrade and Mario Pecheny were presented within the time frame established in Article 44 of the Rules of Procedure, but in a language that is not the official language of the instant case. Subsequently, the translations into Spanish were forwarded 5, 7 and 34 days, respectively, after the time frame had expired.
